Vim Bindings to Compile and Format Universe Programs

Posting a method to quickly format and compile basic programs directly from vim. We started using u2py and it opens up quite a bit of stuff around tooling and workflow now that we can script universe behavior directly from Linux.

There are two one line python programs in the ~/.vim/ directory that are bound to hotkeys. This way I can edit and compile directly from Linux.

The logic should also hold for GUI editors, I haven’t tried it yet but you should be able to do something similar with vscode where you can run a script on the server on some hotkey.

The full instructions to setting up the keybindings and programs can be found below.

Welcome to the Rocket MultiValue forum.

I like the fact you are using Rocket MultiValue Python to extend your development environment. I look forward to looking deeper at the method.
